Deep BLUE SEA, 8" x 10", Acrylic on canvas board, 2008

This is the second sketch that will come alive in colour. It is quite fun seeing this transformation.

I remember sketching this guy on a 469 bus form Woolwich Arsenal to McLeod Road, where he got off. His wife knew I was sketching him and showed it to him, he was fast asleep. She said she loved art while younger... I guess many of us did.

Very, VERY cool sketch and a quite nice painting too. I have the same trouble painting people from memory. Heck, your sketches are total works of art in and of themselves, congratulations on your very special talent.

Thanks for your comments, Hmmmmmmmm........ it is real trouble painting from sketches but this is a challenge for me and I'll keep on doing my best to solve he problems that arise. I really feel these paintings will generaly be paintings in progress.

Wonderful sketches Adebanji and paintings too - so spontaneous and full of colour. The guy on the bus is my favourite so far.
